What is TRON (TRX)?
TRON (TRX) is a blockchain platform launched in 2017 by Justin Sun’s team. Today TRON is the most popular network for USDT transfers: it hosts USDT TRC-20, which millions of people use every day for fast, cheap dollar transfers.

TRON uses Delegated Proof-of-Stake: TRX holders vote for 27 “Super Representatives” who produce blocks. A new block appears roughly every 3 seconds, so transfers confirm within a minute or two and fees stay low.
Why do I need TRX if I only use USDT TRC-20?
Every transfer on TRON consumes resources — energy and bandwidth. If you have none, the network charges the cost in TRX. Without TRX in your balance you cannot send USDT TRC-20 from a regular wallet. You can buy a small amount of TRX with USDT right on Cryptabar.
What drives the TRX price?
