▪️The regulator has now held rates steady for the third consecutive meeting.
▪️This marks the final meeting before Jerome Powell’s term as Fed Chair expires in mid-May.
▪️It was also reported today that the Senate Banking Committee approved Kevin Warsh’s nomination.
▪️The next Federal Reserve meeting on interest rates is scheduled for June 16–17.
