👀 Coinsbuy Platform Loses Nearly $8 Million in Exploit

🔹 Crypto platform Coinsbuy was exploited, resulting in the theft of approximately $7.9 million in digital assets, according to on-chain analyst Specter.

🔹 The analyst flagged suspicious activity across platform-linked wallets on August 9, 2026, at around 13:00 UTC. The incident impacted accounts on both the TRON and Ethereum networks.

🔹 Specter noted that the attacker began laundering the stolen funds by swapping them into Monero (XMR). Following the analyst's urgent outreach to instant exchange ChangeNOW, a portion of the stolen funds was successfully frozen.

🔹 Specific technical attack vectors have not been disclosed. The Coinsbuy team has not issued an official public statement at the time of writing. However, Specter noted that the platform temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals following the breach.
