👀 Kraken Delays IPO Until at Least Q2 2027

🔹 Payward, the parent company of U.S. crypto exchange Kraken, has postponed its initial public offering (IPO) until next year, according to CoinDesk, citing two sources familiar with the matter.

🔹 The company does not plan to go public until at least the second quarter of 2027. A representative for Kraken declined to comment.

🔹 This marks the second consecutive delay. In March 2026, Payward paused its listing plans due to challenging market conditions — declining cryptocurrency prices, weak trading volumes, and valuation pressures across the sector. At the time, sources noted that while the company had not abandoned its public debut, it would only proceed once market conditions improved.

🔹 CoinDesk highlighted that the postponement is yet another sign of a cooling market for cryptocurrency IPOs.
