👀 Harmony and Router Protocol Announce Project Closures 🔹 Crypto projects Harmony and Router Protocol have announced the winding down of their operations. Harmony plans to shut down its mainnet and migrate the ONE token to Ethereum, while Router Protocol will completely cease operations by the end of September. 🔹 Harmony attributed the decision to escalating threats from state actors and AI agents. The team stated that after seven years of operation, it is time to fully sunset the network launched in 2019. 🔹 Harmony proposed conducting an airdrop of new ONE tokens on the Ethereum network and migrating exchange listings. User balances will be captured at the network's final block. The snapshot will encompass tokens held in wallets, staking, validator rewards, smart contracts, and centralized exchanges. 🔹 Users, delegators, and validators will not need to submit claims. The new ERC-20 ONE tokens are scheduled to be credited directly to corresponding addresses on Ethereum.
