👀 Bitcoin Records Longest Profit-Taking Streak of 2026 🔹 Bitcoin's Spent Output Profit Ratio (SOPR) indicator has remained above the breakeven level of 1 since August 19, according to data from CryptoQuant. The positive run has extended into its third consecutive week, marking the longest bullish streak for the metric in 2026. The latest reading stands at approximately 1.002. 🔹 SOPR measures whether spent outputs (moved coins) are being transacted at a profit or a loss. A value above 1 indicates that investors are, on average, selling Bitcoin above their cost basis, while a drop below 1 signals profit loss or capitulation. 🔹 Data from Glassnode reflects a similar trend. As of September 8, the aggregated SOPR stood at approximately 1.017. 🔹 Meanwhile, on September 7, the metric for short-term holders stood at 1.012, while long-term holders recorded 1.138. This demonstrates that both cohorts were moving coins at a profit on average.
