The Polygon team has announced the launch of private stablecoin transfers within the Polygon Wallet, in partnership with the
Hinkal
protocol.
Users can now send USDT and USDC on the Polygon network without public disclosure of the sender, recipient, or transaction amount on the blockchain.
The solution is primarily targeted at enterprise users who require payment confidentiality.
Technical framework:
Transfers utilize a shielded pool backed by
ZK-proof
(zero-knowledge proof) technology.
Security:
Each transaction undergoes a
KYT (Know Your Transaction)
check to mitigate suspicious activity and sanction-related risks.
